Directing and operating cameras, lights, live streaming, responsive projections, and other tech as needed for 130+ performing arts events per year (concerts, readings, etc.) .

Organizing and stewarding institutional media archives including multiple recordings of each event, photos & other visual media, schematic documentation.
+ I learned to edit in Adobe PremierePro & regularly mix live audio with 12+ open tracks.
Collaborating with a range of artists to format existing media and/or designing and implementing bespoke media supplements for City of Asylum shows (visual overlays, backdrop graphics, etc.).
Managing communications with artists and vendors, including scheduling payments, setting up instrument rentals, determining stage plots, and conveying logistical information.

Meta Reality Labs via Insight Global, Virtual Reality Research Analyst

Guided study participants (members of the public) expression and gesture sequences across systems of audio/visual prototype research systems over periods of 30 min to 6 hours at a time.
Learned, maintained, and re-designed data-collection and storage procedures.
+ I was recognized as one of the most accurate and effective technicians, which led to the opportunity to assist with process design.
Trained later-hired capture technicians in operational and interpersonal best study practices i.e. building early rapport with participants & directing techniques I brought from theater experience.

Conceived, pitched, and guided a staging of the Starkid musical Firebringer, in close collaboration with artistic directors, a small band, and over a dozen actors.
Designed and constructed novel, props/set elements; emphasized low-waste and up-cycled options as part of the environmental engagement of the project & came in far under budget
Originated volunteer collab. between cast/crew (100 people) and GU Hypothermia Outreach Team

Wrote and performed original music as a citizen of post-apocalyptic Portland (adapted by Natsu Onoda Power).
